New: a shareable intake link lets your customers add their own pets

Setting up a new client used to mean a clipboard, or ten minutes at the counter typing while a dog squirms in their arms. Now you can hand that job back to the client.

From the Clients page, PawFora now generates a one-time intake link. Send it over text, WhatsApp, or whatever you already use. The client opens it, fills in their own details and their pet's profile, and submits. By the time they walk in, the record is already sitting in your system.

• The link is one-time, and it expires. You issue a fresh link per client. It stays valid for seven days and stops working the moment it's used, so a link can't be passed around or filled in twice. If a client loses it, you just send another.
• What the client fills in. Their own contact details, plus their pet's profile: name, species, breed, birthday, weight, a photo, and vaccination records. They can add more than one pet on the same form. It's all typed by the client, in the language your store runs in.
• You decide what's required. Five switches control what has to be filled in. The owner's name and at least one pet are always required, and you choose whether email, address, pet photo, and vaccination records are mandatory. Phone stays optional by default, because not every client wants to hand it over. Flip the switch if you need it.
• It lands straight in your records. When the client submits, the profile writes directly into your clients and pets, with no copy-paste from a paper form. We also send the client an activation email, so they can log in later and see their pet's history themselves.
• Runs in your store's language. The form renders in whichever language your store uses, across all the languages PawFora supports. A Spanish-speaking client gets a Spanish form without you touching a setting.
