Price by size, tag by temperament: PawFora now handles both
Two upgrades shipped this week. Both are about the small details that decide whether a pet visit runs smoothly or turns into a scramble.
Services can have tiers now. Until now a service carried one price. Bathing a Chihuahua and a Great Dane cost the same, or you cloned the service five times to cover every size and coat. Now each service can hold several tiers — a name, a note, a price, and a duration each. Set up "Small / Medium / Large" or "Short coat / Long coat" and price them apart. A single-tier service looks and behaves exactly as before; the choice only shows up when a service actually has more than one tier. Booking, checkout, the register, and the online booking page all read from the same pricing engine, so the number is identical no matter where the sale lands. Duration rides with the tier too, so a longer groom books a longer slot.
Pets can carry tags. Some dogs panic at the clippers. Some cats have to be wrapped tight. That used to live in one groomer's memory, and the next person on the leash had no idea. Now each pet can be tagged — "Anxious", "Senior", "Needs express", "Flea treatment" — right on the pet profile, visible to the whole shop. PawFora surfaces the tags your team reaches for most, so adding one is a tap, not a typing exercise. The note follows the pet onto the appointment and the grooming report, so whoever picks up the leash already knows what they're walking into.
Both are live now. No module to switch on, no setup. Open a service and add a tier; open a pet and add a tag.
